Project 1: Upgrading the Entrance Road
Our development team are hard at work widening the main road from the entrance, past reception to the toilet block, to ensure two-way traffic and to allow for secure access controls in the future.
- At the park entrance, the road to the right (towards Holywell Bay) and the road to the left (towards Talland View and Lantivet Bay) will be permanently closed in the new year and transformed into beautifully landscaped areas, meaning only one route in and out of the park.
- Adding a touch of elegance, the curbs in this area – and all future road projects – will feature stunning, individually crafted granite stones, setting Trelay apart with a unique charm.
Project 2: Tarmac Upgrade to Holywell Bay
We are applying tarmac over the existing gravel road in Holywell Bay, complemented by the addition of granite curbs to both the new tarmac section and the existing tarmac road. This upgrade will significantly enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area. The project is on track to be completed by Friday, 6th December.
Project 3: Road Enhancements in Talland View and Lantivet Bay
In January, our team will begin to tarmac part of the gravel road, starting from opposite the touring toilet facilities and continuing past the children’s play area and ending approximately at Talland View 22.
- While this phase covers a significant section, we are committed to expanding this upgrade in future years, creating consistent and high-quality roads throughout the park.
- Work will being in January and we anticipate completing this phase by the 31st January 2025. We appreciate your patience during this time and assure you that the results will be worth the wait.
Project 4: Pitch revelopment in the central area of Holywell Bay
During December, the team will be undertaking the repositing of pitch 17 and 18, which were previously opposite reception. These pitches will be moved adjacent to 19, which will in turn create a larger green area, with wonderful landscaping and lighting going in during the new year.
These projects are just the beginning of an exciting period of transformation at Trelay
