Between the meadows and the sea
Where we are.
Waterstone Retreat is a small collection of four unique hideouts — Tinker, Wishbone, Still House and Wonnacott — in Marhamchurch, near Bude. Hot tubs, open fires and outdoor kitchens sit among fields and big North Cornwall skies, yet the coast is only minutes away.
Guests can enjoy our four-acre wildflower meadow, alone or in the company of their dogs, with a circular walking route wandering through it. The retreat is alive with nature — ponds and lakes visited by birds and wildlife, beehives busy among the wildflowers, and our own Waterstone honey, which really is something special. A beautiful orchard of plum, date and apple trees shades slow afternoons, while the surrounding farmland is home to grazing cows, sheep and lambs. With the Tamara path close by and fresh sea air on the breeze, it’s a place to feel completely at one with nature.
