We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Trelay Holiday Park has won the gold for Holiday Park of the Year at the 2024/25 Cornwall Tourism Awards! This recognition means the world to us and reflects the heart and soul of our boutique, family-run park near Looe.
Just two years ago, we (Chris and Rebecca) took over Trelay with the hope of creating a peaceful, welcoming escape for visitors from near and far. Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into every detail, from the cosy Hideaway lodges and luxury hot tub holidays to our seasonal touring pitches and holiday home ownership opportunities. The award is a wonderful reminder of what we’re building here together and how much our guests’ happiness means to us.
At Trelay, we’re committed to creating an atmosphere that feels like home—for families, couples, and anyone looking for a retreat in Cornwall’s stunning countryside. Winning Cornwall’s Holiday Park of the Year is truly humbling, as it recognises our team’s hard work and the holiday home owners and guests who bring the community feel to Trelay every season.
This year has been extra special for us personally, as we recently welcomed our first child, baby Freddie, just a few weeks ago! He’s already brought such joy to our family, and we joke that he’s our youngest “team member,” learning the ropes of holiday park life right alongside us.
We’re especially proud of the unique Trelay blend: family feel, community spirit, and that cherished Cornish hideaway. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re incredibly grateful to each of you who has been a part of this journey—whether through a one-time visit, a family holiday tradition, or even finding a home-from-home here with us. The 11-month season we offer allows you to enjoy Cornwall through the seasons, and we love seeing guests return to create new memories all year long.
