A brand new defibrillator at trelay holiday park!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of everyone in our community, we have recently installed a defibrillator right here at Trelay Holiday Park.
We understand that in emergencies, every second counts. That’s why we believe this defibrillator will be a vital addition, not only for our park residents but also for the local community. In times of need, having quick access to life-saving equipment can make all the difference.
Here are some key details about our new defibrillator:
- Accessibility: We have registered our defibrillator on ‘the circuit,’ which means that if someone in the vicinity requires a defibrillator and ours is the closest, emergency services will direct them here and provide the access code.
- Features: Our defibrillator is housed in a heated cabinet with a light for easy visibility, ensuring it is ready for use at any time. It has been installed by our trusted electrical contractor, Tony Gascoyne, who generously provided their services on a complimentary basis.
- Ease of Use: This fully automatic defibrillator requires no prior training for operation. However, we want to assure you that some of our team members have recently completed first aid training, further enhancing our ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Gratitude: We extend our heartfelt thanks to the London Hearts charity, whose generous funding covered 50% of the defibrillator’s cost. The remaining 50% was funded by Trelay Holiday Park, demonstrating our shared commitment to community safety.
While we hope that our defibrillator never needs to be used, we take comfort in knowing that we are prepared for any situation that may arise.
